YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry received a call from the emergency service hotline, on Tuesday at 2:16pm, informing that capital city Yerevan resident Levon Gevorgyan, 2, was taken to hospital on symptoms of poisoning.   

Doctors say the little boy is in average critical condition, the Ministry press service informs.

The poisoning cases among children have recently increased. In late June Armenia’s Rescue Service received another poisoning call from the Emergency Service. Yerevan resident Yana Gh., 2, was taken to children’s hospital, on June 30, on symptoms of drug poisoning.
