MOSCOW. – While Chairman Aleksandr Kuzmin of the Architectural Committee of Moscow is on vacation, the Russian capital city’s Mayor Sergey Sobyanin appointed Vice Chairman Ruben Mulkijanyan as the Committee’s Acting Chairman. 

It became apparent last week that Aleksandr Kuzmin, who holds this office since 1996, has submitted his resignation and he will leave office after his vacation, Moskovsky Komsomolets informs, referring to Moscow’s municipal administration.     

And President Nikolai Shumkov of the Union of Architects of Moscow informed that Vice Chairman Ruben Mulkijanyan is heading the Committee at present.   

Ruben Mulkijanyan is Vice Chairman of the Architecture and Urban Development Committee of Moscow ever since 2007. He is an associate member of the International Academy of Architecture, an honorary constructor of Russia, a distinguished constructor of the Russian Federation, and member of the Union of Architects of Russia.
