YEREVAN. – The Youth Foundation of Armenia has launched a program of establishing computer classrooms in the country’s penitentiaries.   

And the first such technically-equipped classroom will open Thursday at Sevan Prison. It will enable the inmates to get familiar with computer technology, improve their knowledge, and it will guarantee a continuous education. 

To note, the Youth Foundation of Armenia will set up computer classrooms in the military units as well. And the first such classroom will soon open in the Armavir instructional military unit. It will help the soldiers and the officers, alike, make the learning process become more efficient. The project of equipping the military units with computers is devoted to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Armed Forces.
