World famous French-Armenian Charles Aznavour will get a star in Georgian city of Akhaltskha, in the Rabat fortress complex.

The decision was made by Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, Gruziya Online reports.

The Ministry representative Marina Beridze said Akhaltskha and Rabat fortress have historic significance adding that Aznavour’s visit to Georgia is very important.

On August 16 world-famous singer will participate in the concert dedicated to the opening of renovated Rabat fortress in Georgia’s Akhaltskha city.

Accompanied by a group of 25 musicians, Aznavour will sing his world hits during an hour-and-a-half-long live concert in an open air theater.
