YEREVAN. – The British Airways company stops functioning in Armenia.

The air company decided to stop its flights to Yerevan starting from October because of low income, the London Office of the company reported in response to the RFE/RL Armenian service.

The jets of the British Airways were not flying to Armenia over the recent years. The jets of BMI company were making flights to Yerevan instead. However, as the BMI was sold to the British Airways, the latter decided that flights to Yerevan are not profitable.
