YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Parliament adopted in the snap session convened on Wednesday a statement on Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov, who had killed the Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan in Budapest in 2004, was sentenced to life in jail by the Hungarian court and who was extradited on Aug. 31 from Hungary to Azerbaijan and granted a pardon. The statement was adopted by 96 for, 1 against and 0 abstentions, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports. “The Hungarian authorities share responsibility for what had happened and Armenia condemns the behavior of the Hungarian authorities. Moreover, Armenia suspends official relations with Hungarian Parliament.  Azerbaijan proved for another time that it endangers security of the region and deepens the atmosphere of anti-Armenian hostility and hatred,” an extract from the statement reads.
