YEREVAN. – The President of Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan, a Republican MP who had put down his mandate after murder by his restaurant security officers, made threats to the organizers of protest campaign against “Harsnaqar” incident. In an interview with France based Nouvelles D’Armenie periodical he promised to punish Garegin Chugaszyan, Hranush Kharatyan and Davit Sanasaryan.

After the voiced threats in his address, the activist of “We Demand to Punish All the Guilty of Harsnaqar Case” initiative Davit Sanasaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he is ready to meet with Hayrapetyan.

“If he tells the venue where he wants to meet, I’ll go there alone. Unlike him, I don’t walk with bodyguards,” said Davit Sanasaryan.

Asked whether other threats have been made prior to this one, Davit Sanasaryan replied, “There have been no threats. Even if there were, I wouldn’t get scared and step back. Now I’ll struggle more, since the threat now is more evident not only for me and my friends, but for the whole society as well. Hayrapetyan is able to be proud of his mistakes which he has voiced and apologized for. This means that he may further make mistakes and apologize for them once again”.

According to the activist, Prosperous Armenia party, Armenian National Congress and other political powers will react to Ruben Hayrapetyan’s interview as they were accused of having affiliation with the case.

To note, in an interview with Nouvelles D’Armenie Ruben Hayrapetyan said that after getting terrorized by the activists he will show them and their families a real intimidation.

“Their family members will develop diabetes and will live in fear till the end of their lives. I won’t let them bully my children and see my wife crying. I won’t stand this,” Ruben Hayrapetyan said.
