YEREVAN.- Changes in the character of Azerbaijani side’s activities were recorded over the last several days, spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry said.

Artsrun Hovhannisian commented on the situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.  

“In some areas, the change in activity of the adversary was recorded. Equipment and manpower is accumulated. Armenian side will take all necessary measures to neutralize activities,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Azerbaijani media, instigated by press service of the defense ministry, started a massive information attack, which was to create an impression of sharp escalation. The reports about death and injury of two Azerbaijani servicemen were circulated. It is noteworthy that the place of death of the soldier was not reported.
