Attempting to hold down his post, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili drags the country into new war, said leader of oppositional “Democratic Movement – United Georgia” party Nino Burjanadze the other day.

Commenting on Georgian Parliament’s call to North Caucasian parliaments on cooperation, she stated that the initiative is a “challenge to Russia” and “Georgia is on the verge of new war”. The movement statement says that such calls might bring to destabilization of situation in North Caucasus. Oppositionists reckon that Georgian Parliament’s appeal is a “provocative intention” that might lead to fallout.
