GYUMRI. – Armenian Gyumri city Mayor Samvel Balasanyan has met with the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports,

Over the meeting the mayor discussed with the U.S. envoy issues related to the funding of restoration works of Gyumri city old theater building. Mayor Balasanyan also presented to the ambassador the program “Gyumri – CIS cultural capital” that launches on June 30.

In the City of Gyumri Ambassador Heffern also attended the photo exhibition “Silent tracks of Armenian orphans” organized in Trchunian Tun orphanage.
