YEREVAN. – During his trip to Armenia, the Prince of Wales not only met with the Armenian officials and visited the sights, but dined in Dolmama restaurant in the center of Yerevan.

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, founder of the restaurant Zhirayr Avanyan said Prince Charles liked the dishes and called them the most delicious he had ever tasted.

Avanyan said the restaurant staff was informed about the visit of the Royal guest beforehand.

“Prince Charles tasted lamb blade chop, Sevan trout fillet, mushrooms. As to alcoholic beverages, the Prince of Wales was drinking Armenian wine “Karas”, while other guests preferred Armenian Dvin brandy,” Avanyan said.

Prince of Wales Charles visits Armenia as a guest of the Yerevan My Love Charitable Foundation. During his stay on May 28-30, the Prince of Wales will pay visits to Armenia’s most important historical monuments, and attend a gala concert and dinner for the benefit of the charity work aimed at preserving the cultural heritage of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.
