YEREVAN. – Information was received notifying that a traffic accident had occurred in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, on Tuesday at around 5am, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.   

Fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene, informs the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.  

It was found out that a Mercedes-Benz E320 had gone off road for yet unknown reasons, hit a pole, and turned upside-down.   

Prior to the firemen’s and the rescuers’ arrival, the police removed the female passenger—an unidentified woman about 25 years old—from the vehicle, and transferred her to hospital. Physicians say she is in critical condition. 

And the rescuers removed the dead body of the driver—Yervand Yengibaryan, 30—from the automobile.  

To note, Yengibaryan is a well-known theater and television actor, and Monday was his birthday.
