Istanbul Armenian Corç Şeker, who is a participant in the Turkish version of the international “The Voice” song contest, was eliminated.

Following the next round of the competition, panel of judges’ member and famous Turkish singer Ebru Gündeş decided to eliminate Şeker from her team.

To note, an interesting dialogue had taken place in the previous round between the Istanbul Armenian and the judges. A judge had asked why he has such a name and a surname noting that perhaps his father is Turkish, whereas his mother is a foreigner. Corç, however, had responded that his parents are from Turkey, but he is Armenian.
