YEREVAN.  – The Armenian government on Thursday approved the procedure of issuing electronic consignment notes.

The deputy head of the State Revenue Committee Armen Alaverdyan, who was presenting the project in the government, said electronic invoices will come into force on 1 January 2014.

Two separate forms for maintenance and transportation of goods were approved, too. The invoice is issued in real time and may be declared invalid within 30 minutes. Invoices can be in circulation and stored in both electronic and printed form.
