YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party National Assembly (NA) Faction member Tevan Poghosyan gave up his mandate as an MP.

Poghosyan wrote the aforementioned on his Facebook account.

“I have submitted to the National Assembly speaker my petition to renounce my mandate as an MP. I had made my decision a long time ago. I was just waiting for the end of the political year so as not to leave the assumed responsibility unfinished. I already have informed my Heritage associates about this.

The reasons are purely in-house, and therefore I do not consider it ethical to publicize them.

“I will continue my fight in the public sector,” Tevan Poghosyan noted, in particular.
