It was found out that one of those killed, as a result of the clashes in Ukrainian capital city Kyiv, was an Armenian by the name of Serhiy Nigoyan, who was a Ukrainian citizen.   

The opposition Ukrainskaya Pravda newspaper reported the aforesaid citing its sources.

“It is Serhiy Nigoyan, an active participant of the EuroMaidan,” the interlocutor said.

According to the source, Nigoyan was shot in the neck and in the head. 

The 20-year-old was from the Russian-speaking City of Dnipropetrovsk, where the vast majority of the population actively supports the political course of the Ukrainian authorities.    

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on the other hand, stated that the identity of the man that was killed and the circumstances behind his death are being ascertained, the state-run Ukrinfo news agency reported.
