YEREVAN. – The airplane on board of which—according to Ukrainian opposition members—was Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych, passed through Armenia’s airspace, but continued on its route.
Information security expert Samvel Martirosyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Martirosyan stated that he came to this conclusion by following online the flight paths of the aircrafts leaving Ukraine.
Armenian General Department of Civil Aviation Press Secretary Nelly Cherchinyan, however, informed that they have no such information.
Earlier, several media outlets were reporting that Yanukovych had urgently left Ukrainian capital city Kyiv, in the early morning hours of Saturday, together with his entourage.
