The Armenian Apostolic Church on Sunday celebrated the Feast of the Universal Church of Holy Etchmiadzin. 

In this connection, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II presided over the Divine Liturgy that was offered in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The event brought together Archbishop Nourhan Manougian, the Patriarch of Jerusalem  of the Armenian Apostolic Church, members of the Armenian Apostolic Church Brotherhood, and representatives of the hierarchical sees. 

President Serzh Sargsyan, capital city Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Mother See philanthropists, and numerous faithful also were on hand at the Holy Mass. 

The annual Feast of Holy Etchmiadzin commemorates the founding and establishment of the Mother Cathedral of the Armenian people in 301 A.D.
