The official opening of the Caucasus Cultural Festival was held in Seoul, the capital city of the Republic of Korea (South Korea).

Armenia and Georgia are participating in this event which is held in South Korea for the first time.  

The Tatul Altunyan Song & Dance State Ensemble, the Mikayel Voskanyan & Friends ethno-jazz band, and painter and sculptor Ararat Sargsyan are representing the Armenian culture at the one-week festival which is held in Seoul and Busan cities.     

And before the start of the event, the Armenian and South Korean governments signed, at the Republic of Korea MFA, and agreement on cooperation in culture, sports, and education.
