A Dutch creative agency has launched 99 Days Of Freedom project to examine how 99 days without Facebook impacts happiness level.

Earlier researches by Just agency showed that an average user spends 17 minutes a day perusing the social media site. Thus, the volunteers can save approximately 28 hours during 99 days. The experts believe that 99 days are enough to collect the necessary information and so that the volunteers could not get bored of the experiment.

99 Days of Freedom asks participants to set their profile picture to a “time-off” image and then spend 99 consecutive off the site, while recording their mood at certain time intervals – 33, 66 and 99 days.
