YEREVAN. – The situation in Voskevan village of bordering Tavush Region has been calm for two days, and no shots have been heard, member of Yerevan city council Stepan Safaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Safaryan, a native of Voskevan, has been in this village for two days. 

“No cases of ceasefire violations have been registered. The villagers are calm, there is no panic,” he said.

Over the recent days Azerbaijani side has been intensively firing at border villages of Tavush Region, Armenia, and has made several acts of sabotage in the direction of Karabakh.
