The first monument in the world to Wikipedia will be installed in Slubice, a city in Poland not far from the border with Germany.

The author of the monument is 30-year-old sculptor of Armenian descent Mihran Hakobyan, TASS reported.

The project is estimated at 12 million euros and will be funded from state budget. The opening is planned for October 22.
