STEPANAKERT. – Armenian military serviceman Hovhannes Tadevosyan (born in 1995) sustained a wound to his knee, on Monday at around 4:15pm, and as a result of the irregular shots the adversary had fired.

Tadevosyan was wounded at a military outpost of a protection area of a military unit that is stationed in a southerly direction of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

The adversary has quadrupled its ceasefire violations in recent days, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense (NKR MOD).

The NKR MOD calls on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from actions aiming to exacerbate the situation, and to take steps toward stabilizing the situation on the line of contact.

But in case of further aggravation of the situation on the frontline, the NKR Defense Army will take all necessary measures to silence the adversary.
