STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the 2014 Military Cooperation Program between Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the “Unity 2014” operational and tactical military exercises have kicked off on Thursday.
The maneuvers are conducted under the command of the NKR President, Commander-in-Chief of the NKR Armed Forces, Bako Sahakyan, the NKR MOD press service informed.
Armenia is participating in these drills primarily in the arrangement and the exchange of knowledge processes, which are coordinated by the Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov.
