YEREVAN. - The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, who also heads the Chess Federation of Armenia, partook at the closing ceremony of the traditional rapid chess tournament for ruling Republican Party members, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.

The tournament took place in the Tigran Petrosian Chess House in Yerevan. The winners of the tournament, who were members of the Republican Party of Armenia were awarded by President Sargsyan, who handed the ruling party members cups, diplomas and medals.
