The Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC or EurAsEC) will issue a U.S. $600m soft credit to Armenia. A relevant decision was made at a final sitting of the Interstate Council in Astana on July 5.
The relevant departments are now preparing documents.
Kyrgyzstan will ask funds for restoration works in Osh and Jelal-Abad. Acting Minister of Finance Temir Sariyev stated that the works are estimated at U.S. 450m.
Tajikistan will receive a U.S. $90m soft credit.
Armenia has observer status at EurAsEC.
