YEREVAN. – The exchange rates of the American dollar (USD) and the euro against the Armenian dram (AMD) have risen to some extent in the banks that are operating in Armenia.

Accordingly, USD 1 was purchased at a maximum high of AMD 469, as of Monday at 10:30am.

The banks in Armenia bought the US currency at AMD 464-469/$1, Rate.am reported, and sold it at AMD 479-480/$1.

The euro was bought at AMD 556-571/€1 and sold at AMD 583-601/€1.

The dollar and euro exchange rates had reached record highs in Armenia on December 17, and even though they have dropped ever since the same evening, their exchange rates are rising again in recent days.
