Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused U.S. of silence on the deaths of Turkish citizens, killed in an Israeli raid on Gaza-bound aid flotilla.

"It is meaningful the U.S. administration is not interested in death of American citizen Furkan Dogan just because he is of Turkish origin. We expect U.S. administration to follow it. The U.S. administration remains silent on the issue,” Erdogan stated at a joint press conference with his Serbian counterpart in Belgrade.

He also condemned some EU member states because they have not extradited apprehended PKK terrorists to Turkey, 1news.az reports referring to Hurriyet daily.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Turkey threatens to break diplomatic ties with Israel over its raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla if Israel either apologized or accepted the outcome of an international inquiry into the raid. Israel said it had nothing to apologize for.
