YEREVAN. – Mayors of Nor Hajn and Byureghavan towns have submitted their resignations to leave Prosperous Armenia, they said in a statement.
However, Gagik Matevosyan and Hakob Balasyan continue to carry out their duties as mayors, the statement reads.
During the Thursday congress of Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan said he was leaving active politics and was giving up his position as a party chairman. Naira Zohrabyan was elected chairman of the party.
