YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 473.05/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.68 from Thursday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 514.73 (up by AMD 3.39), that of one British pound was AMD 701.06 (up by AMD 1.95), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.29 (down by AMD 0.02), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 256.12, AMD 18,227.88, and AMD 17,551.08, respectively.
Friday’s trading totaled USD 300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 475.5/$1.
