Grievances have risen within Turkey’s main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP).

These complaints are in connection with Armenian woman Selina Ozuzun Dogan, whom the party has nominated as a CHP MP candidate in the forthcoming parliamentary election in the country.

Some CHP politicians are troubled by Ozuzun Dogan’s recent statements about the Armenian Genocide, and some party members demand the withdrawal of the Armenian MP candidate’s nomination, reported Yeni Akit daily of Turkey.

To note, Selina Ozuzun Dogan had stated that the tragedy in 1915 still continues today in Turkey.
