President of Russia Vladimir Putin will discuss political and economic ties during his meeting with Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan.

“A separate meeting with Serzh Sargsyan is planned. The leaders are expected to discuss broad range of bilateral issues, including political, trade, economic and humanitarian aspects of cooperation, as well as international and regional challenges,” said Yuri Ushakov, Russian president's aide.

Putin will arrive in Yerevan at the invitation of the Armenian side to attend Armenian Genocide commemoration events on April 24.
