YEREVAN. – World famous soprano Maria Guleghina performed “Krunk” (Crane) by Komitas at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in Yerevan.
The famous opera singer arrived in Yerevan on Thursday to participate in the commemoration events.
“What happened 100 years ago is terrible. But for the sake of our children’s future, for the sake of future in general we need to merely live and remember those who died,” she told reporters at the airport.
