YEREVAN. – Around one thousand jewelers from a variety of countries will arrive in Armenia next year to participate in the annual congress of The World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO).
The respective decision was taken during this year’s congress of the CIBJO held in Brazil from May 4 to 6.
The project director of Armenia’s Meridian Jewelry Free Economic Zone, Nika Manukova, told the aforesaid to reporters on Monday.
The host side will be the Government of Armenia, and the Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA).
“This means our country’s jewelry industry already has a place on the world map,” Manukova stressed.
