YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan signed а decree whereby Lieutenant General Lyova Mnatsakanyan is discharged from his duties as Deputy Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces.  

With another presidential decree, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan is appointed the Deputy Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, Armenian
President’s press service reports.   

Earlier, the press wrote that Lyova Mnatsakanyan will be appointed as Defense Minister of Karabakh, yielding his office to Movses Hakobyan. After 2017, Mnatsakanyan is excepted to replace Yuri Khachaturov, Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces.
