Members of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition headed by RA Former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan arrived in Idjevan city (North Armenia) to pay a visit to “Haykakan Zhamanak” Chief Editor Nikol Pashinyan's house and supporters in the region.

Ter-Petrosyan told journalists that since 1988, the elections became “ruder, more uncivilized and cynical”. This is conditioned by the fact that incumbent Armenian authorities are beneficial for the West. “[The authorities] conceded in the Genocide issue and Karabakh will be befallen of the same fate. When it is done so [the West] will no longer need these authorities,” he declared.

Asked whether Karabakh will be conceded, Ter-Petrosyan stated that it is already done so, adding that this can prevented only in case of the prevailing authorities resignation.

Ter-Petrosyan being asked in case if he assumes the power, what will change, replied that there are already changes. “My return created a nation, a powerful and civil society. One just has to notice that” ex-president concluded.
