The Turkish Airiles Company told 28 flight attendants to go on unpaid leave for being overweight.

In case the employees fail to lose weight they will be fired. Earlier all 28 flight attendants had been warned of necessity to lose weight, Rosbalt reported.

“Weight and height are important factors at all airlines. These criteria are important both in terms of appearance and the ability to move about,” the Jerusalem Post quotes the statement by the Turkish Airlines.
