On August 10, two people were killed in a blast in the Turkish province of Sirnak. The explosion was carried out by the rebels of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, CNNTurk reported.

The explosion caused fire that spread to a nearby highway, killing two and injuring one other.

Earlier this year the rebels claimed responsibility for a blast on an oil pipeline. The terrorist attack was carried out in the same region of Turkey. 

A 970 km long Kirkuk–Ceyhan oil pipeline is Iraq’s largest crude oil export line.
