YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has approved the list of the country’s embassies and consulates that are authorized to issue, or replace, Armenian passports.

The government made the respective decision at Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.

The list includes Armenia’s embassies in Argentina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, Great Britain, Vietnam, Georgia, Denmark, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, the UAE, Poland, Romania, Syria, Turkmenistan, Sweden, and Switzerland as well as Armenia’s consulate generals in Aleppo (Syria), Batumi (Georgia), Marseilles (France), Odessa (Ukraine), and Sochi (Russia).

And if it is impossible to issue biometric Armenian passports, Armenia’s embassies in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Russia, USA, Ukraine, France, and Czech Republic as well as Armenia’s consulate generals in Los Angeles (USA), Rostov-on-Don, and Saint Petersburg (Russia) are authorized to issue ordinary Armenian passports.
