The reports saying that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has disappeared are just rumors and absolute nonsense, the Russian Kommersant newspaper reported referring to President’s press secretary Natia Bandzeladze.

Last week several Georgian media outlets, in particular oppositional ones, reported that Mikheil Saakashvili had disappeared. They failed to find out where the Georgian President was.

On Sunday Mikheil Saakashvili met with the American teachers who arrived in the country to teach English to the Georgian children, Bandzeladze said.

The opposition just used the fact that Preisdnet spent nearly 24 hours in the airplane after his visit to Columbia, she added.
