YEREVAN. – The Minister of Education and Science, Armen Ashotyan, on Wednesday received Ukrainian Ambassador Ivan Kukhta, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Ashotyan thanked the ambassador for his assistance—during his five-year tenure—in the strengthening and development of Armenian-Ukrainian ties in education and science.

Ambassador Kukhta, for his part, expressed gratitude for the coordinated and productive work, and stressed that working in Armenia was a great satisfaction for him.

Subsequently, the parties discussed the prospects for further strengthening ties between the two countries, and the new opportunities within international education platforms.

The interlocutors expressed confidence that Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation in the education system has great development potential.

Armen Ashotyan and Ivan Kukhta also reflected on several other matters of mutual cooperation.
