As part of the Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) of NATO’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) program, the 2nd level evaluation of OCC of one of the infantry battalions of Armenian Armed Forces Peacekeeping brigade is carried out from September 15 to 18.

During the 2nd level, the combat-readiness of the subunit, as well as its equipment with technology and weapons is checked, as reported by Armenia’s Defense Ministry press-service representatives.

To ensure the assessment process, the “ZAR” Training Centre of Peacekeeping Brigade is holding a head-quarter exercise from September 15 to 19.

Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Lieutenant-General Yuri Khachaturov, Chief of Armenia’s Armed Forces General Staff, visited the training center on Thursday.

According to the preliminary assessment, the exercises are carried out according to the schedule and yield positive results. The final assessment will be given by the head of the NATO group on September 20.
