The hatred of Christians in Turkey is often aimed at the country’s Protestant community.

The “Open Doors” Protestant Charity Organization is concerned about the safety of fifteen pastors in Istanbul, and who are getting messages with death threats since August 27.

The style and content of these messages suggests that their senders are radical Muslims.

Such death threats have increased considerably in recent weeks, and started to become systematic.

The threats are received from the same source, and most of these messages quote the Koran.

In addition, a video has been posted on YouTube, and which attempts to justify the killing of religious converts.

Turkey is among the top fifty countries where Christians are persecuted the most, reported Sedmitza.
