YEREVAN. – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Sunday met in New York with Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The interlocutors highly praised the friendly relations between the two neighboring countries, and underscored the implementation of joint projects and expansion of cooperation, informed the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

They also reflected on the upcoming mutual visits, and the activities of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission.

In addition, FMs Nalbandian and Zarif exchanged views on several regional and international matters.
