The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, James Warlick and Pierre Andrieu will visit Nagorno-Karabakh on October 26-27.
Regular monitoring will be held during these days, spokesperson for Karabakh president Davit Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“We attach importance to every meeting, as during these meetings the situation in the region as well as issues related to the conflict are discussed. The Co-Chairs are expected to meet with Karabakh president, foreign minister and defense army chief,” Babayan said.
Prior to a visit to Karabakh, the diplomats will visit Yerevan and will leave for Baku on October 28.
Earlier James Warlick said they would visit the region to meet with the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan and prepare for their next summit.
Last month the mediators held a joint meeting with Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers on the margins of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
