Young singer Selim Serhed, who is popular among Kurds in Turkey, was killed for performing a Kurdish song.
Famous Turkish singer Onur Akay tweeted that Serhed was stabbed and killed, reported Haberler news portal of Turkey.
Akay noted that the singer was killed on stage for singing in Kurdish.
Selim Serhed, who was known for his songs about peace, has left behind three children.
