YEREVAN. – The Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) company of China, which operates in the domain of energy production, is interested in carrying out an investment project in Armenia’s energy industry, including alternative energy.

TBEA CEO Li Biang Cui noted the aforesaid at his talk Thursday with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

The Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the interlocutors discussed the steps toward and prospects for TBEA’s implementing the above-said investment project.

The Chinese company official added that they have studied Armenia’s energy sector.

Abrahamyan, for his part, welcomed TBEA’s initiative to conduct an investment program in the country, and noted that the Armenian government stands ready to contribute to its implementation.

Subsequently, the parties reflected on the avenues for further cooperation.
