There were twelve passengers and six crew members—five Armenian and one Russian—aboard the plane that crashed Wednesday in South Sudan.

The South Sudanese president’s official representative informed the aforesaid, reported LifeNews, which is a Russian news website and TV.

According to preliminary reports, however, there were forty people were aboard the plane during the crash.

Director of the airport of Juba—the South Sudanese capital city—informed that three passengers had survived the crash.

In addition, the local media report that the plane crashed on a farm, and therefore the death toll may rise.

The airplane belonged to the Juba-based Allied Services Limited, which is a cargo airline.
