YEREVAN. – In recent years, Armenia has recorded a considerable progress in the development of Information Technology (IT), where there is an average of 25-percent growth per year.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced the aforesaid at Wednesday’s opening ceremony of the conference entitled “Knowledge, Innovations and Development.”

In the PM’s words, the Armenian government is guided by the imperatives of increasing economic competitiveness and ensuring a continued economic growth, and the need for building a knowledge-based economy.
