YEREVAN. – Members of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Monday stood a minute of silence before starting their regular four-day session, to honor the memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place recently in Beirut and Paris.

“We strongly condemn and reject any manifestation of terrorism,” NA President Galust Sahakyan said in his remarks.

He also extended sincere condolences to the people of Lebanon and France.

Simultaneous terrorist attacks occurred on the evening of November 13, in different parts of Paris. According to official data, these attacks claimed over 130 lives, but the media report about over 150 casualties. A state of emergency has been declared in France.

And a terrorist attack on November 12 claimed dozens of innocent lives and injured hundreds of people in Beirut.
